How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk: An Introduction

 

OVERVIEW:
Located across the lagoon is the fantastical land of Berk. Here, Vikings and dragons live together in hilarious and heartwarming harmony, and guests are invited to see the place for themselves. Set between the second and third How to Train Your Dragon films, this depicts Berk at its golden age.

This is another family area. Here, the rides are aimed at families, although it doesn't shy away from Universal's immersive storytelling. In fact, guests will see dragons EVERYWHERE! They're in buildings, off to the side, flying overhead (as drones) and more.

So set course to the Isle of Berk. A Viking-sized adventure is about to begin.

  OVERVIEW: Guests venture beneath a portal with the quote "It's Alive! It's Alive!" on it and end up in Darkmoor, a European village known for centuries of monsters in the area. Whether it be hungry vampires or ferocious werewolves, they have been known to be here. Complicating things are the experiments of Dr. Victoria Frankenstein, who harnesses dark energy to power her experiments. This land pays tribute to Universal's Classic Monsters from the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s. Although I was originally hesitant to feature this area, mainly because I'm not a horror fan and I feared that it would be too scary, I decided it was fine after watching POV videos of the land and deciding that it wasn't too intense. Knowing that this is in a family park, I knew that they wouldn't do anything too R-rated, and I have this post to prove it. You have nothing to fear but fear itself here......and all of the monsters.

Jurassic World: Isla Nublar: Attractions

  18 - Jurassic World Discovery Center C-Ticket Any Height Set inside the pyramid-like structure from the films, this is where guests can learn more about dinosaurs. Here, they can see exhibits, play interactive games, and even pay a visit to the genetics lab, where they might be able to watch some baby dinosaurs hatch. 19 - Jurassic World Velocicoaster E-Ticket Must be 51 in. On this wild coaster ride, guests speed through the park as they run alongside the Velociraptor pack. QUEUE: Guests travel into a high-tech structure where a giant statue of the raptors are. They then proceed through labs, where Dr. Henry Wu appears on screens and explains how the creatures are cared for. The guests can even see the raptor heads in harnesses, shaking as they pass by. Then, they will go into a locker room to take out all of their loose items. They then pass through a metal detector before going upstairs. Super Nintendo World: Entertainment

  Key Challenges Guests can go throughout Super Mario Land and play mini-games to collect keys. Once they get all three keys, they can face off with Bowser, Jr. in a shadow showdown. Do note that power-up bands are required. Guests can meet Mario, Luigi, Toad, Peach, Green Yoshi, Pink Yoshi, and Blue Yoshi in Super Mario Land while Donkey Kong meets his fans near his hut in Donkey Kong Country.
