Jurassic World: Isla Nublar: Attractions

18 - Jurassic World Discovery Center
C-Ticket
Any Height
Set inside the pyramid-like structure from the films, this is where guests can learn more about dinosaurs. Here, they can see exhibits, play interactive games, and even pay a visit to the genetics lab, where they might be able to watch some baby dinosaurs hatch.
19 - Jurassic World Velocicoaster
E-Ticket
Must be 51 in.
On this wild coaster ride, guests speed through the park as they run alongside the Velociraptor pack.

QUEUE:
Guests travel into a high-tech structure where a giant statue of the raptors are. They then proceed through labs, where Dr. Henry Wu appears on screens and explains how the creatures are cared for. The guests can even see the raptor heads in harnesses, shaking as they pass by. Then, they will go into a locker room to take out all of their loose items. They then pass through a metal detector before going upstairs.

On the second floor, guests see a video where Claire Dearing informs guests about the new attraction. She interviews Owen Grady, who thinks that the coaster is a terrible idea. He knows the raptors well and believes they are too dangerous to be featured in an attraction like this. One trainer antagonizes one of the raptors, but this is taken for granted. Guests then proceed into the loading area, where they board the coaster and pull their lap bars down.

RIDE EXPERIENCE:
The coaster moves out of the station and near the raptor containment area, where Owen is heard shouting at the other trainers. As guests look to their sides, they can see the raptors ready to run. Then, when white lights flash and the raptors are released, the coaster is launched into an inversion. It moves around the paddock before going through a second inversion. Then, as it careens around the rocks, the guests come across Blue and Charlie. They also encounter Echo and Delta shortly after.

Then, they are sent through a surprise second launch, being launched up to the top of a hill where they can see the whole park. As they go down the hill, they are sent into an inverted stall, where they hang upside down for a few seconds. They go around a circle two times before heading over the water, doing a barrel roll over the lagoon before heading back into the load station.

POST-RIDE:
Guests head to the other side of the locker room, where they gather their belongings before taking a passage back out into the park. On their way, they can stop and look at pictures taken of them during the ride.
20 - Camp Jurassic
C-Ticket
Any Height
This is an interactive play area where guests can become paleontologists. Here, they can explore a playground, amber mines, a splash zone with Dilophosaurus heads, and more.
21 - Isla Nublar Expedition
E-Ticket
Must be 42 in.
Guests can board a high-tech jeep for a tour of the park, but when predators get loose, things take a turn for the worse and the guests must fight to survive. This uses similar technology to Indiana Jones Adventure at Disneyland.

QUEUE:
Guests venture into one of Jurassic World's genetic facilities, where they can see the process on how dinosaurs were brought back with explanations from Mr. DNA. They see several rooms, such as a room full of amber, a genetic coding room, and a nursery for eggs. They are also informed of a new genetically-modified hybrid coming to the park, but they're not given too many details because it's supposed to be a surprise. They then wait outside a pre-show room before being let in.

PRE-SHOW:
Guests come into a circular room with a statue of Jurassic Park founder John Hammond in the center. Behind him is a large screen, where a video starts playing. This shows the history of Jurassic World, from Hammond's failed attempt to create a dinosaur park with his Jurassic Park project to Simon Mansari's successful attempt to do it, and all of the work that went into it. After the video, Claire Dearing welcomes guests to the ride and announces their tour guide, Dr. Lisa Samson. However, when the screen changes, it just shows a simple woman sitting behind a desk. She explains that she is not Dr. Samson, but her assistant, Marsha. Samson is out sick, so she will be conducting the tours for them, offering a sneak peak at their new genetic hybrid, the Indominus Rex.

After this, guests walk out into a loading station, where they board their jeeps. They fit up to sixteen people with three rows of four. Once guests get in, they fasten their seatbelts.

RIDE EXPERIENCE:
The jeeps leave the station and move away from the main building, heading towards a gate. Marsha narrates he tour as they go through, first seeing a family of stegosaurus and triceratops. Then, they enter an aquarium, where they watch the Mosasaurus feast on a shark. As they exit, they come across some Ankylosaurus, who almost hit the vehicle but miss.

Then, as they approach a paddock with a door open, Marsha is informed that something is wrong. Several predators, including the Indominus Rex, have escaped from their paddocks and are running loose in the park. Marsha is about to turn back, but then they come across a T-Rex. It chases them into the jungle until they take refuge in an abandoned Jurassic Park building.

However, they come across more trouble in there. Guests are spit on by a dilophosaurus as they pass through, and then they sneak around a group of Pteranadons. One of them flies overhead as they exits the building. They come across Owen Grady, who is holding his hand out to Blue. He orders the jeeps to get out of there while they still can, which Marsha accepts.

Guests then enter an area with a crashed gyrosphere, nearby which some Compsygnathus are fighting over torn clothing. Then, guests feel like they're being followed as the Indominus Rex is seen moving around nearby. They proceed into a clearing where the Indoraptor stands on an overturned jeep, growling at the guests as they pass. Then, as they head further into the jungle, they see the Indominus Rex again, looking like it's about to eat them. Then, the T-Rex from earlier shows up, and the two predators roar at each other. Using this as a diversion, Marsha drives the jeeps into a hole between them, ducking out of harm's way.

In the final scene, guests return to the load area and see Marsha, Owen, and Blue there. Marsha thanks the guests from joining and asks Owen not to tell the park staff about this, which he replies "No Promises." Blue lets out a triumphant roar as the jeeps head back into the loading station and the guests disembark.

POST-RIDE:
Guests take a hallway into Jurassic Traders, a gift shop. Here, they can buy Jurassic merchandise and see photos of them taken on the ride.
