Euroversal Resort: A Conclusion

Image
And that wraps it up! That's my ideas for a Universal Resort for Europe. Most of it is made just for fun, not planning to be built. However, the Island of the Wild Robot is something I would pitch to Universal, if there was a way. I would like it to come to be if it can. But if it can't..... "I'll be over here, a little sad but otherwise okay."                                                                                          -Baby Brightbill

Music by Kris Bowers, who composed the film, would play in this land as background music. He could also compose original music for the area. Guests can also meet characters like Fink, Brightbill, Pinktail, and Paddler near the Greenhouse Restaurant. They are interactive animatronics that appear throughout the day, similar to the Pets animatronics in Hollywood. It could also be compared to the Raptor Encounter at Universal Islands of Adventure, since they are hidden from view behind something (like Blue is.) A new segment would be added to the nighttime fountain show, featuring Bowers' music from the film. I'd consider a mashup of the songs "Universal Dynamics," "I Could Use a Boost," and "You Don't Have To (featuring the instrumental of "Even When I'm Not.")"

Several merchandise items would be sold in this land. This includes shoulder and head accessories of Baby Brightbill, themed apparel to the film, stuffed animals of the animals on the island, including Brightbill both as a gosling and a grown goose, and more. Here are some places to buy such merchandise.  AQ - Paddler's Possessions After going on their adventure, guests come into the den of Paddler the Beaver. Here, he has made some interesting things out of wood, like figurines and houseware, which can be bought. Also bought here is the largest collection of Wild Robot merchandise, as well as photos taken of the guests on the ride. AR - Universal Dynamics Store  Located near the Greenhouse restaurant is a washed-up Universal Dynamics boat that sells merchandise themed to the fictional company. This includes merchandise themed to Roz, Vontra, and other robots of the enterprise. AS - Raccoon Plunder Shop Located near the entrance of the land is the den of the raccoons. Here, th...

There are four different restaurants in this area, all different in their own ways. AM - The Greenhouse Restaurant Guests travel to a greenhouse-style setting, similar to where Roz was in the movie's final scene. Here, they can look out windows and see robots at work, tending to the crops of Universal Dynamics. In the meantime, guests can have salads, sandwiches, deli meat, and other foods. Guests travel here through a portal because it would be odd to have a building like this on an uninhabited island. AN - Pinktail's Pantry Located near the forest trails is an indoor restaurant where guests travel to a burrow. Here, Pinktail is serving food to guests. This includes burgers, chicken tenders, hot dogs, and other American foods.  AO - Critter Catering This is a snack stand located near the Rozzum Interaction, where guests can grab things like Rozzum pretzels, ice cream, popcorn, Fink tails (orange marshmallow wands that look like a fox's tail,) and more. AP - The Bear Cave ...

Island of the Wild Robot: Attractions

There are six attractions in this area. This includes two kiddie rides, a play area, an inverted family coaster, an interactive show, and a dark ride. 11 - Flight of the Geese A-Ticket Any Height Located in a clearing in the center of the land are two midway-style spinners, consisting of different geese. This includes barnacle geese, Canada geese, and hybrids of the two. They are stationed around a pile of rocks in the center, which they fly around. As they spin around, guests can make them go up and down with a lever. What makes this ride technologically advanced as that the geese will flap their wings as they fly, making them look like they are actually flying. Plus, guests can follow the instructions of a flight leader (which is optional, not required) to gain the title of "Migration Champion." This is randomized every time guests ride, so they will have to do different things in order to do this. The story of this ride is that Brightbill is helping geese prepare for a co...

Island of the Wild Robot: An Introduction

Image
(Disclaimer: These five posts might be slightly more detailed than other ones. This is in case I actually pitch this to Universal Creative and hope that they build it in a park.) I remember watching The Wild Robot for the first time. I was 20 years old and at my grandparents' house when they pulled it up in Peacock. I was not expecting much then, but looking back at it now, I consider it one of the biggest turning points of my life. Why? Because that was when I met Brightbill, a character whose life mirrored mine in so many ways. Being a runt and someone who was raised differently connected with me as an Autistic person. I felt inspired by him, watching his rise from misfit to hero. And the crazy part is that several other people who are Autistic or have family members with Autism have related to this in a similar way. With this being such a moving film for me, I want to see it represented in Universal Parks somehow. I'm sure I'm not the only one too. This was a movie that...

After all, the people who run this place are vampires. AF - The Burning Blade Tavern Beneath a windmill that catches on fire (as a reference to the original Frankenstein when they trap the monster in a windmill and set it ablaze) is a tavern where the hounds hang out. AG - Torches and Pitchforks In this snack stand, guests can buy fun snacks, like Frankenstein pretzels and Black Lagoon chocolate. AH - Wolf Snacks Located in the Mystics camp is a stand selling on-the-go meals like hot dogs and sanwiches.

9 - Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment E-Ticket Must be 48 in. Guests come to see an experiment by Dr. Victoria Frankenstein, but it goes terribly wrong and they must escape the wrath of several monsters. This uses similar technology to Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. Although I was a bit wary of this ride, especially because videos and promotional things referred to it as or of the scariest rides Universal has ever created. However, I watched a POV for this ride and it didn't seem too scary. A bit intense, yes, but not too terrifying. I say it's just as scary as Jurassic Park or the Mummy. QUEUE: In the back of Darkmoor village is the towering Frankenstein Manor, which is bustling with dark energy. Guests then go inside s foyer with creepy wallpaper and skeleton statues. Guests move around the rooms of the manor, looking at Victoria's different experiments and how she learned to control the different monsters. There is even a box containing the origi...

Dark Universe: An Introduction

Image
OVERVIEW: Guests venture beneath a portal with the quote "It's Alive! It's Alive!" on it and end up in Darkmoor, a European village known for centuries of monsters in the area. Whether it be hungry vampires or ferocious werewolves, they have been known to be here. Complicating things are the experiments of Dr. Victoria Frankenstein, who harnesses dark energy to power her experiments. This land pays tribute to Universal's Classic Monsters from the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s. Although I was originally hesitant to feature this area, mainly because I'm not a horror fan and I feared that it would be too scary, I decided it was fine after watching POV videos of the land and deciding that it wasn't too intense. Knowing that this is in a family park, I knew that they wouldn't do anything too R-rated, and I have this post to prove it. You have nothing to fear but fear itself here......and all of the monsters.

However, there is magic hiding all over here. Firsts, guests can go through the brick wall to explore the magical shopping district of Diagon Alley. Then, they travel by floo powder to the British Ministry of Magic. In a way, this is pretty much a scaled-down version of the Diagon Alley area of Universal Studios Florida to include the Ministry dark ride from Universal Epic Universe. So wands at the ready.......magic begins here!
